Rice University and The Texas Medical Center Team Up For Game Day

On Thursday December 4, the Department will be hosting Games for Health, an all-day regional event that offers a chance to develop a community an best practices platform for the numerous games being built for health care appications. The project is designed to bring researchers, medical professionals, and game developers together to share and gather information about the impact games and game technologies can have on health care and policy.

Tickets are $49.00 until November 26, 2008. After that date, they will be $79.00. The cost includes lunch and an after-event reception. the event is free for registered Rice faculty and students. Students that wish to attend the event should email bbryant@dmill.com.
