Palem Receives McDowell Award

Krishna Palem, the Kenneth and Audrey Kennedy Professor of Computing, has been selected by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) as the recipient of the 2008 W. Wallace McDowell award for “pioneering contributions to algorithmic, compilation, and architectural foundations of embedded computing.”

Palem was featured in The Houston Chronicle, as well as Rice News.
