Mellor-Crummey, Tallent and Fagan Win Distinguished Paper Award
Nathan Tallent, John Mellor-Crummey and Mike Fagan recently won the Distinguished Paper Award at ACM SIGPLAN Programmiung Language Design and Implementation (PLDI) 2009. The paper, Binary Analysis for Measurement and Attribution of Program Performance, was presented by Tallent at the conference. One hundred ninety-six papers were submitted to the conference (a record number of submissions), and 41 papers were accepted.
The PLDI conference allows researchers, developers, educators and practioners to exchange information on the latest practical and experimental work in design and implementation of programming languages. PLDI '09 was held on the campus of Trinity College Dublin, Dublin, Ireland, and the technical program of the conference lasted three full days.
